Role Summary

Chair or serve on the ESG committee of the board. Ensure that all water treatment facilities comply with environmental permits, discharge limits, and waste disposal regulations. Propose and monitor science-based sustainability targets for all new projects before capital approval. Keep the board informed of changes in local and international environment. Guide the group on best practices for ecological impact reduction and circular economy principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee environmental compliance across all facilities
  • Set sustainability targets (carbon, water reuse, waste reduction)
  • Review environmental impact assessments for new projects
  • Ensure alignment with local and international environmental regulations
