Job Description
Leads and overseas all technical and engineering functions across the organization, including process design, technology selection, and system integration for water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsible for developing and standardizing engineering practices, reviewing and approving PFDs, P&IDs, and technical proposals, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Role Summary
Lead and govern all technical and engineering activities across the organization, including process design, technology selection, and standardization for water and wastewater treatment plants. Establish and maintain engineering standards, design guidelines, and equipment specifications to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance across all projects.
Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of advanced treatment technologies (RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, SBR, UV, DAF, chemical dosing, and sludge treatment systems), ensuring optimal technical and commercial performance. Lead plant optimization initiatives focused on maximizing efficiency, improving water recovery, and reducing energy and chemical consumption.
Ensure that all designs and delivered systems meet or exceed local and international water quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Act as the organization’s technical authority for troubleshooting, process optimization, and root cause analysis across ongoing and completed projects.
Support business development and project execution by reviewing and approving technical proposals, PFDs, P&IDs, and design calculations, while coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commercial teams. Lead knowledge development within the organization through technical training programs and continuous improvement of engineering capabilities.
